เมื่อวันที่ 28 กรกฎาคม 2561 นายเชิดเกียรติ อัตถากร เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงไนโรบี ได้เป็นประธานในพิธีถวายพระพรชัยมงคล ในโอกาสวันเฉลิมพระชนมพรรษาสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวมหาวชิราลงกรณ บดินทรเทพยวรางกูร 66 พรรษา โดยมีข้าราชการ ทีมประเทศไทย ชาวไทยในกรุงไนโรบี และครอบครัวเข้าร่วมด้วย
นอกจากนี้ เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ร่วมกับข้าราชการ ทีมประเทศไทย และครอบครัว รวมทั้งชาวไทยในกรุงไนโรบี ได้ร่วมกันจัดกิจกรรมจิตอาสา โดยปลูกต้นไม้ดอกไม้ประดับบริเวณสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ด้วย
On 28 July 2018, His Excellency Mr. Cherdkiat Atthakor, Ambassador of Thailand to the Republic of Kenya, presided over a ceremony to celebrate the auspicious occasion of the 66th Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun. The ceremony was attended by officials from the Royal Thai Embassy, Team Thailand, Thai community and their families.
After the ceremony, the Ambassador, officials from the Royal Thai Embassy, Team Thailand, the Thai community and their families also joined in to plant flowers and trees in the area surrounding the Embassy.
